Birds on the wires

From a picture of birds on wires, Jarbas Agnelli (films, art and music director, three times Cannes winner), composed a beautiful melody. The guy saw a musical score in a newspaper photo and decided to make a song, using the exact location of the birds as notes (no Photoshop edit). Here you will find the video.

Her Morning Elegance

Born in Tel-Aviv, Israel, Oren Lavie is a songwriter (indie) and play director. As a songwriter he produced in 2008 his debut album ‘The Opposite Side of The Sea’ where “Her Morning Elegance” is the main song. He loves animation (as I am) but he can’t draw a straight line to save his life (as I am, too) .

The video “Her morning elegance” was shot all stills – roughly 3225 still photos for the entire video, using one camera, hanging from the ceiling for the main body of the movie.
* It took 4 weeks before shooting to create an animated computer generated storyboard for the video, with 3d dummies for the characters.
* It took only 2 days of shooting for the live actors on set to re-create the 3.5 minutes computer sequence, frame by frame.
* Some of the bed sheets used in the video were taken from Oren’s own bedroom and are now considered collectors items, worth at the moment not very much and therefore used as bed sheets.

A lovely song and an amazing video.

Site created by Animal Planet TV Channel. As an atitude to save the planet, the website is hosted using 100% pure solar power. I don´t have any information about the tecnique, but it´s simple and great.
